- Projects
Getty North
Location
Getty North is located in British Columbia’s Highland Valley, near Logan Lake in the Kamloops Mining Division. The project borders Teck’s Highland Valley Copper Mine, the largest copper mine in Canada, and benefits from excellent regional infrastructure and access.
Geology
Getty North is a classically zoned Cu-Mo porphyry system with mineralization extending from surface and remaining open down plunge. The deposit includes both oxide and sulphide zones, which the company plans to better define:
Oxide mineralization is amenable to leaching, with recoveries up to ~80%+ in historical column tests and rapid recovery potential using continuous vat leaching.Â
Sulphide mineralization responds well to conventional flotation, producing high-grade copper concentrates.
Exploration
Getty Copper’s 2026 fully funded drill program is now underway at Getty North and Getty South — the first drilling on the project in over 30 years. The multi-phase campaign is focused on resource expansion, confirming historical results, and testing new discovery targets within this highly prospective porphyry system.Â
Â
Historic work at Getty North includes 303 drill holes (55,619 m), supported by IP and magnetic surveys, geochemical programs, and detailed mapping, providing a strong technical foundation for modern targeting and reinterpretation.
Summary of Historical Getty Probable Mineral Reserve Estimates
Note: Molybdenum credits were not included in calculating reserves or resources and the molybdenum estimated grade is provided for additional information only.
Â
The resource and reserve estimates herein are derived from the 2010 Prefeasibility Study. Effective date: May 3rd, 2010. The Company has not updated the study, and the estimates should not be treated as current mineral resources or reserves.
Recent drilling continues to demonstrate expansion potential:
- 2024 step-out hole: 591 m @ 0.27% CuÂ
- Including 142 m @ 0.40% CuÂ
In 2026, Getty Copper will advance a 12,000-16,000 metre drill program focused on:
- Updating and expanding resources at Getty North and Getty SouthÂ
- Testing deeper deposit extensions identified through recent reloggingÂ
- Improving geological and alteration models to support a future geometallurgical framework
This program is designed to enhance resource scale, improve continuity, and unlock additional value within the system.
